Obama insists he intends ending Iraq War
Jamaica News.Net Saturday 5th July, 2008
U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama told reporters Saturday he remains committed to ending the war in Iraq.
The Democratic senator is trying to end speculation that he is inching away from a promise to withdraw troops within 16 months of taking office.
On Thursday, Republicans accused Obama of reversing his position after Obama said he might refine his timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq.
Obama said Saturday he was puzzled by the frenzy that resulted from, what he called,"an innocuous statement."
He said he continues to believe that the war in Iraq was a strategic mistake that should be brought to an end.
Republican candidate John McCain has said the United States cannot risk progress made in Iraq by withdrawing U.S. troops without concern for conditions on the ground.
McCain says U.S. troops could be in Iraq for many years and that a greater military commitment is needed to achieve long-term success.

Obama insists he intends ending Iraq War
This illegal Iraq war as well as the Afghanistan wars, are personal wars that mr. bush has waged through lies, mis-information, and premaditations to promote financial gains, for his cronies, and all of those who voted for these personal wars should be responsible for their actions to the American people, as well to those who have suffered, life, limbs, and their liberty.
These promoters, supporters, and as well as breaking the statues of the United States Constitution, should be brought to trial in American courts, and then must be turned over to the International war tribunal, for crimes against humanity, human rights abuses, torture, and illegal imprisonment of individuals without formal sustaining charges,
All of the things that this present, and past bush administration are against the principles that America has and it stands for, these people have not represented the mandate, and the wish of the peaceful American people, but they have promoted the policies of the warmongers, military industrial complex, as well as the interests of war speculators who are still a plague of society,
